Nathanael! You are 3 today and totally your own person. You are usually very encouraging with your words. You like to say things like, " You did it!" and " You're awesome!". Your desire to serve is unbelievable! You ask us if we need anything. I am amazed how much you have changed over the past year.
You are such a big boy, 95 % potty trained :) And this birthday you are a big brother. Having to share mommy with your sister was tough at first and you still need your cuddle time/hold time with me, but you are a good big brother. Just the other day, you discovered you could "carry" Hannah! I was talking with your dad and Hannah was bothering you, so you came carrying her to me.
Recently we’ve begun to have little conversations that let me see into your heart. You’ll lay all squished up on my lap (because you are really tall for your age!) and as you talk to me you’ll touch/pull my hair. You make me feel so treasured.
At times when there is nothing going on, random times you will tell me that you love me and that feeling in my heart is amazing! It is one of the best feelings I have ever experienced.
Last night, after I had put you to bed I became teary eyed. Knowing you are no longer 2 and you are now 3 is sad, yet a happy time. So many emotions! :)
So, Happy Birthday, my dear child! You will always be my little boy!
