The four little pigs...

I hate pigs. No, seriously. They are filthy, stinky, vile creatures. Oiiinnnkkk. I especially hate the swine flu, which we all have had this past week. As I sit here in bed, with all my sick little piggies, I shall tell you the story.

I am sure it all began last Sunday when we took a train ride on the city train, MARTA (or now we may refer to it as Ms. Piggy). Now, we didn't have anywhere to be, we were riding for "fun". Yeah, we have a 2 & 1/2 year old... It was an outting. I vaguely remember hearing someone coughing up both lungs on MARTA. I hand sanitized Nat like crazy and Hannah was sheltered away in her stroller the whole trip. I guess Germ-x doesn't serve as a face mask against germs, they should really work on that.

Bryan felt the effects first on Monday (I think). Nat started coughing on Tuesday. I got it Wednesday. So... It's just a cough, right? Nooooo, for Nat and I it turned into fever on Thursday night. Nat went to the Dr. on Friday and was diagnosed with an ear infection. I went to the Dr. (actually Nurse Practitioner) on Saturday, thinking it was just a cold with a really bad ear infection. I was so weak and dizzy I could hardly walk, very disoriented, high fever, chills, cough... They swabbed my mouth and ran some tests to determine that I had Type A flu :-P
Hannah got it Sunday, which included a trip to the Children's Hospital ER for a high fever. We've been really miserable, but we are getting better!
