She is here!

Our baby is FINALLY here! After a false alarm on Thursday night/Friday morning, Baby girl has officially had her birthday. She was born 12/26/2010 at 4:40 AM. She was 9 lbs 13 ounces, 22 1/2 inches long. Her head measurement was 14 1/4 inches, chest was 15 1/4 inches.

Christmas

It's been a long time since I contributed to our blog and I figure it's about time, being that the current events are so momentous! Yet, on my way over to post something here, as I waited for the "blogger" posting page to open up on our incredibly slow and awful internet service that we pay an insane amount for (Clearwire is the worst) (no, I'm not bitter) (okay maybe I am, but just a little) (no, actually, I hate them) (alot) (they truly are contemptable) (is that okay? am I allowed to hate a company, as long as it's not a person?) I ran across the most awesome post on Facebook. It is as follows and is by my wife, in the wee hours of this morning of Christmas day: "'On this day a child was born...' and it's not mine :)" I got a really therapeutic laugh out of that. A real stress reliever. I gotta tell ya, though. That pretty much sums it up and I don't know what more I could add.

Any day now...

11 days until my due date. A mixture of anxiousness, happiness, and sadness are filling my heart. We will soon no longer be a family of 3, 4 is our new number. This is where the mixed feelings come in...Anxious to meet our little girl. Happy to be a family of 4. Sad that we are no longer 3. Mixed up, huh? :) It's hard thinking of loving another person, my heart feels full to the brim, but I know I will have a tremendous amount of love for the new bambino.

Oh, the naming process is driving me a little batty this time around! We honestly have no names picked out. Prayers, please! (Or name suggestions, or both! :))
