Currently I am a few days shy of 36 weeks pregnant. About 3 weeks ago we moved into our new place. This was such a sad move for us, but we have a lot to be thankful for, so we are dwelling on that instead! :)
The moving part was a nightmare, almost a sitcom. The storyline for this "Furse Family" episode entitled, "The DAYS of our Move"?: A 33 week pregnant woman, a 73 year old woman, a 71 year old man, a 2 year old, and a strong 30 something male.
Yes, amusing, but more of a frustrating experience to say the least. Watch as an old man huffs and puffs his way up the stairs with a box of Christmas ornaments, a granny sits and observes, while a 2 year old is trying to help strong daddy move the sofa into the house, all while the pregnant lady gets yelled at by said granny if she moves even a piece of paper, "You are going to put yourself into labor! Go sit down! We've got this covered". Oh, REALLY?! Is that why this move is taking 4 DAYS, instead of 1?
At the time...not so funny. Now that I have this on record, I can reflect back for the next move and say..."I will get a second/third job to pay to have PROFESSIONAL MOVERS move us into our new home." Or save a little every week!
Here are some pictures of our place, this is the professionally staged pictures of when it was on the market. So these are not our furnishings (although, we do have the dining room set), so until we get around to having everything unpacked...this is what you get.
