Dear Nathanael,
You are 2 today!!! You've learned so much in this past year, since your last birthday. You walk, talk, and do so much on your own!
2 years ago you came into our lives and changed our world forever. You've brought us smiles and laughter like we've never known before.
You have inspired me to keep going when I felt like giving up. You are my rainy day ( I LOVE rainy days!), my break in the chaos. Your random hugs and kisses fill my heart with delight. Some days I wish I could hold you and keep you from this big world, so you won't have to experience heartache, but I know that is foolish. If I did that, you'd miss out on all the joys this world has to offer, too!
So, you've been here 2 years and sometimes when you sleep, I can still see you as a newborn. You are growing up too fast! Please slow down for mommy! It saddens me to see you grow up, knowing you'll never be this little again. I will try to cherish every moment of your sweetness at this age.
